Teen girls face the greatest challenge in today's society by dealing with issues such as,
- Self-worth,
- Beauty,
- Peer Pressure,
- Dating,
- Confidence &
- Popularity.
In addition to that list, it is my observation that one of the most common yet least confronted topics in dealing with teen issues is the topic of PURITY.
There is a world whispering lies believed by girls globally from magazines, movies, commercials, and the internet. Girls are told they have to look, dress, act, and even think a certain way merely to be accepted. For this reason, many girls run to the first place that they can get attention - in the arms of the opposite sex. Before they have realized it, girls have given their hearts away and found themselves in a hopeless state of guilt and rejection.
The problem lies within the selfish realization that at the very core of every human being is a desire to simply be accepted. Ephesians 1 and 2 helps explain that if we are followers of Christ, then we are already accepted by our Creator who loves us individually and specifically beyond compare.
While many times people like to think they are in tune with their identity in Christ, many people (especially teenage girls) struggle with knowing who they are in the Lord and why the importance of remaining pure is so vital. In Proverbs 4:23 the Bible reminds us to guard the very treasure that could be destroyed if we buy into the "Hollywood" lies. That simple word, "treasure" is referring to our heart.
According to Pregnant Teen Help, it is estimated that every 1 in 3 teen girls will become pregnant before the age of 20 and that number is steadily on the rise.
For this reason, I am determined to break the cycle of sexual impurity by sharing with readers my passion for purity to girls, teens, young ladies, and women all over the world with a Biblical perspective in hopes that others too can learn to, "keep thy heart..." Too many girls are slipping through the cracks of society by never having been truly taught what Christ demands of us as children of purity and righteousness.
Purity is a lifestyle. That means you should live in such a way that every thought, action, decision, or even word from your mouth should first be filtered through the Bible and monitored by the Holy Spirit.

As an experienced leader in teen and women's ministry, I seek for this site to be a place that readers can find out more information on issues teens struggle with daily, as well as advice on how to handle those issues. The underlying theme of my writing is purity simply because purity is more than just abstaining from sex outside of marriage as stated earlier. More importantly, I want people to see the beauty and blessings in a relationship with God. He has changed me and He can change others too! To give you more of an insight on my passion for purity, you can watch the video above or visit Love180.com for more stories like mine.
